Ambient Water to Sell Commercial Systems to Malaysian Oil & Gas Companies

Company signs distribution agreement with Wrap Resources Asia Pacific, a leading Asian cold works goods and services provider

SPOKANE, WA – March 26, 2015 – Ambient Water (OTCQB: AWGI), a leading provider of atmospheric water generation systems for extracting water from humidity in the air, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Wrap Resources Asia Pacific, a cold works goods and services specialist in the oil & gas sector based in Malaysia.

The agreement will include the purchase of multiple Ambient Water 400s, the company’s flagship model of its atmospheric water generation technology, with proposed installations to be rolled out over a two-year period. The distribution agreement includes exclusivity if minimum yearly purchasing requirements are met.
The systems will be utilized to generate a clean, sustainable source of drinking water within the target market of offshore platforms & drilling rigs, floating production and storage facilities, and barges. Currently in these situations, a clean supply of drinking water is brought in from an outside catering company and distributed via boat, and water for utilities is generally produced through reverse osmosis of seawater. Under the agreement, the AW 400’s would be installed and maintained conveniently on-site.

“The distribution agreement with Wrap Resources is a significant step forward for Ambient Water as we continue our efforts to provide a water solution for the oil & gas sector and showcase the immediate need for our technology. There is a tremendous opportunity to fill a current need in areas like Malaysia, where water is transported by boat in to the drilling rigs and offshore platforms,” said Keith White, Founder and CEO of Ambient Water. “This can be expensive, and also is dependent on weather for safe travel. Our atmospheric water generation technology ensures there will be a sustainable source of water available for consumption and other uses. We look forward to working with Wrap Resources to meet its customers’ water needs.”
Wrap Resources will market targeted potential and current customers for sales presentations on our water solution technology. Wrap will also recommend the AW400 to project managers who are working on initiatives still in the design/concept stage. The AW400’s will be shipped directly from the United States to Malaysia upon each specific order and installation.

Both East and West Malaysia are ideal locations for atmospheric water generation technology, particularly due to the large number of major offshore operators in the area, including Shell, PETRONAS, ExxonMobil, Talisman-Energy Ltd., Murphy, and Nippon Oil. The AW 400’s compact design and minimal power requirements (approximately 25kWh), coupled with the relatively high humidity levels in Malaysia (average 40-50% during the day), make it a more feasible and cost effective option for the oil & gas industry over the long-term.

Wrap Resources Asia Pacific offers its customers a turnkey cold work solution in the areas of pipeline integrity rehabilitation and civil structural integrity rehabilitation/ strengthening. For more information, please visit the company website.
