Through the collaborative organizing and planning efforts of the Port of Moses Lake, Grant County Economic Development Council (EDC), Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Eastern Washington SBDC, the Moses Lake Airport hosted 12 Japanese businesses from the Nagoya, Japan Chamber of Commerce for an international B2B exchange event and viewing of the maiden flight of the Mitsibushi Regional Jet Liner (MJL) on May 15th.
This day long event included a luncheon meeting with introductions of many well known Japanese companies such as Mitsibushi, Toyota, All Nippon Logistics, Fujitrans and others followed by a brief presentation about our regional aerospace industries by the Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium. This was followed by one-on-one business meetings between 10 Eastern Washington Aerospace Companies and the 12 Nagoya companies.
Participating companies from INWAC included: Accra-Fab, Altek, Coffman Engineers, MultiFab, and Novation.
