Ellie is a Washington SBDC certified business advisor and a NASIBTE certified global business professional. NASBITE is the world’s largest professional organization for international trade advising and education. She has a diverse background with experience in both the public and private sectors and with both small businesses and large corporations, including seven years on the global business development team of K&L Gates, an international law firm with offices on five continents representing corporations in every major industry. Ellie holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and is bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Ellie serves Seattle in her business advisor role. She also helps businesses across Western Washington grow internationally. As a Washington SBDC international trade business advisor, she participates as a working member of the Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT), a collaborative team of local, state, regional, and federal export assistance agencies that provide Washington state companies with tools and resources to help them export.

Ellie enjoys working with business owners to hear their stories, build trust, and help them access information, markets, and capital to grow their businesses.
