Matt Holmes

Matt Holmes has enjoyed assisting business owners in multiple areas including finance, operations and marketing for more than a decade. Even with his enthusiasm for marketing, Matt asserts that you can’t out-market a bad business model, and encourages businesses to focus on the fundamentals and the financials.

Matt started adding value to business owners in 2003 in the restaurant industry through sales leadership, innovating in customer satisfaction and ensuring return patrons. While working in hospitality for seven years, Matt managed the success of multiple speakeasies, restaurants and live music venues. He loves the notion of never allowing a guest to leave unsatisfied.

After moving into banking, he got his first opportunity to help businesses grow hands-on in 2008 with an advisory role in consumer and small business financial services. Matt eventually spent 15 years leading and teaching business development, salesforce marketing, sales operations, leadership and regulatory compliance.

In 2021, Matt created his own opportunity to deliver on marketing solutions, and started his own marketing agency, where he served business owners as the creative director, with a heavy focus on ROI-based marketing, centering on branding, copywriting, driving web traffic and internet lead generation and sales.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences in Political Economy and an MBA. Matt is married, with 4 children and enjoys jogging, writing and BBQ.
