CIE OnRamp – First Steps for starting a business

CIE First Step programs serve as an onramp to the WSBDC (Washington Small Business Development Center) for folks who are up and running and ready to grow.

CIE’s Community Enterprise program is your place to find training and one-on-one support to help you launch and grow your business. Our OnRamp training gives you the basics of what you need to know to “kick the tires” on your business idea and find out the steps you need to take to start or accelerate your business.

The OnRamp workshop consists of four, two-hour sessions covering:

  • Session 1 – The Foundation: Readiness Mindset and Personal Finance
  • Session 2 – Opportunity Discovery: Bringing Value to Your Target Market
  • Session 3 – Money In and Money Out: Understanding Sales Forecasts, Startup Costs, Overhead Costs and Costs of Goods Sold
  • Session 4 – Profitability: Understanding Cash Flow and Break Even
