Lew is a board Certified Business Advisor, and has worked with the Washington State Small Business Development Center Network since 2000, serving all of Okanogan County. His office is co-located with the Economic Alliance of Okanogan County. He earned a MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is also a Certified Instructor for the NxLevel Course for Entrepreneurs and instructs a 10-week course, “Indianpreneurship, A Native American Journey into Business”. He has traveled to the central Asian countries of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to instruct on business courses. Lew has been recognized for his commitment and achievements by the national Associated Small Business Development Centers, receiving the Washington State Star Award.
Prior business experience:
Owned and operated a precision plastics injection molding manufacturing business in the Seattle area for 13 years. Experience as Treasurer/Secretary for over 8 years with a corporation having over $100 million in revenues and nation-wide subsidiary operations. Experience with business acquisitions, SEC filings, bank loans, retirement plans and employee benefits insurance programs. He started his business career as a computer marketing representative for the IBM Corp.
Captain in US Army Ordnance Corps with 2 yrs active duty and 2 yrs. active reserve duty.
