Steve Burke is the Western Washington Regional Manager and is a Washington SBDC Certified Business Advisor.
Steve has 30 years of experience in the property asset management business much of it underwriting small business financials and business plans for commercial leases. His passion is studying current trends in the economy, technology, business tools and techniques and using those to assist small business owners in South Seattle, SODO, West Seattle, Tukwila, Renton and the Eastside areas in a full range of assistance from technology, innovation and reinvention to landlord/tenant issues, business plans, marketing, finance and financing. He has 10 years of experience owning his own business including obtaining SBA loans. He has an MBA from San Diego State University and is looking forward to helping you grow your business.
Hillary Van Beek is the SBDC Associate Business Advisor in South Seattle.

Hillary started her career with a small technology company, in the Washington D.C. area. After a year of sales and marketing and working with government contracts, she grew into the role of Training and Operations Manager. Four years later, she moved to Washington state, and became the office assistant for the Lacey SBDC location, while being coached to become an SBDC advisor.
Through extensive training within the WSBDC, Hillary has become fluent in the art of financial projections and increased the efficiency of several Excel templates that are used with SBDC clients. Hillary loves taking the time to teach clients, and other business advisors, how to make Excel spreadsheets work for them. Some of her favorite tools to share are cash flow budget projection, business valuation, and bid estimates.
