Jenefeness Tucker has been coaching, educating, and training entrepreneurs for more than 18 years. She joined the Washington SBDC in 2018 by way of Columbus, Ohio. She also served clients at the Connecticut SBDC. She teaches Economics at Seattle Central College and is the author of several books, including “Finesse My Business: From Launching to Levitating,” “21 Day FI$CAL Bootcamp Workbook” and “Finesse My Time Management System.”
Jenefeness earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and global organizational management from Wilberforce University (HBCU), and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Ohio Dominican University. She has additional certifications in GrowthWheel, IBISWorld, Ice House Entrepreneurship and Profit Mastery. She is taking a comprehensive course in Technology Commercialization scheduled for completion in September 2020.
Jenefeness was awarded the Microentrepreneur of the Year Award by the INCREASE Community Development Corporation of Columbus, Ohio and nominated for Advisor of the Year. She was also named on the 100 Growth List of Middle Market CEO’s by Axial, appeared on Inside Edition, featured in articles and segments on The Successful Micropreneur, TBN’s Encounter Him Series, NPR News, Fox 28 News, Successful Business News, Columbus Business Journal and Ohio Minority Business Enterprise.
Over the course of her career, Jenefeness has worked in the private sector, the public sector, for start-ups, for large corporations and small businesses, always seeking opportunities to educate and empower herself and those around her.
