My career really began as an employee on our family farm; where I learned the importance of budgeting, as we navigated many financially difficult years. I worked for a marketing firm in central California and then in Houston, TX. From there I began work in the call center industry. I quickly moved up the ladder; eventually landing a call center site director position. Working in the call center industry, (specifically the 3rd party call center industry) is where I really honed my management and leadership skills. From there I worked as an educator for Walla Walla Community College. I taught business and management courses. I have also worked previously for a short stint as a Realtor and as a Small Business owner. In addition, I have prior experience with the WSBDC as a business advisor.
