Devin Gonzalez

Devin serves as a bilingual Business Advisor focusing on Food Business and community outreach for the North Cascades region, offering one-on-one advising to aspiring entrepreneurs in the Skagit, Island, and Whatcom counties. His passion for the food industry and his background in entrepreneurship as the owner of a restaurant and catering company make him an excellent fit for the role of Business Advisor with a focus on Food Business.

Devin’s experience as a business owner enables him to coach and mentor entrepreneurs through the different stages of business development, from exploring a business idea, developing a go-to-market strategy, and accessing funding, to growing a team. He was most recently working in the finance department with the City of Bellingham. His unique insights and experience will undoubtedly benefit the entrepreneurs we work with in this sector.

Devin’s journey involved many different hats- being a student, working in finance, washing dishes, fine dining, selling produce, and owning a catering and event company – but after many years, he found his true calling to build community and empower emerging entrepreneurs.

In his free time, Devin enjoys cooking at home with his partner and newfound friends. When he’s not in the kitchen, he can be found at local farmers markets and exploring the new to him, breathtaking beauty that Washington has to offer.
