Kristina Hines

Kristina joins the Washington SBDC network of advisors with nearly 20 years in business administration, human resources, small business consulting, and communications.

She began her career as a payroll manager with a small manufacturing firm in Philadelphia where she developed the skills necessary to move on to a human resources position for a private equity firm in New York City, ultimately advancing to an executive leadership role.

Since then, she has performed in executive leadership positions and on special project teams for notable organizations such as Pratt & Whitney and Winn-Dixie grocery stores.

Her experience spans the United States in various industries such as luxury retail, grocery, aerospace, manufacturing, government contracting, private equity, and cellular infrastructure. She is particularly in tune with the unique challenges small businesses encounter day to day, year to year, and stresses the importance of collaboration in longstanding success.

Kristina has a master’s degree in mass communications with a specialization in integrated marketing and social/digital media from the University of Florida. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware in international relations with a specialization in international political economy. She is also a trained mediator through the Washington Dispute Resolution Center of Skagit, Island, and Snohomish counties (Volunteers of America).
