Kyle Todd

Prior to joining the Washington SBDC, Kyle lived in the other Washington, where he spent 15 years with DC Main Streets, a program that promotes the revitalization of business corridors in the District of Columbia. Created in 2002 through the National Trust for Historic Preservation, DC Main Streets serves as the citywide coordinating program that provides services and funding for the 24 Main Streets found in the District of Columbia.

As executive director of several Main Street programs, Kyle assisted a wide variety of businesses in all stages of growth. He worked with DC economic development leaders to assist businesses during the pandemic, in addition to working directly with the business owners to adapt their models to the ever-changing economic landscape.

Kyle believes that small businesses are the backbone of any economy, and he loves the energy that entrepreneurs bring to their projects. To that end, he is passionate about his work as an SBDC advisor. When not at work, Kyle can be found hiking, exploring the Pacific Northwest, watching baseball, or simply enjoying a good book
