Rick Dickinson

Rick provides training and one-on-one advice helping to emerging entrepreneurs on the Olympic Peninsula imagine new business opportunities, start businesses, and get businesses ready to grow.

Rick brings extensive marketing and communications experience to his role as a business advisor for CIE. He has worked for a wide range of organizations, from large multinational corporations to small nonprofits, and worked for several years as an independent marketing consultant to small businesses. In 2016 he and a partner launched a successful wholesale cannabis business. He is passionate about using business to benefit both people and the environment.

Rick earned a master’s in business administration from Bainbridge Graduate Institute at Pinchot University (now Presidio Graduate School) with a concentration in entrepreneurship as well as a Certificate in Sustainable Energy Solutions.

The Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship (CIE), in partnership with the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers accessible and inclusive first step business training, advising and support to emerging entrepreneurs and early-stage microenterprises in rural and underserved communities throughout Washington State.
