Shawn Palmer is an SBDC business advisor with OneRedmond and OneEastside in eastern King County. Shawn meets with current business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to assist in tackling the challenges of business growth and resilience.

Shawn combines strong analytics with creative problem-solving, skills honed as a decorated Naval officer. He operated his own financial advising firm for nearly 20 years. He taught creative writing to fourth graders. (Haiku, anyone?) Shawn has been a certified SBDC business advisor since December 2019. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance) from Central Washington University (2001) and master’s degree in management and leadership from Western Governors University (2020).
