Sherri Daymon

Sherri’s entire professional career has focused on supporting the development and sustainability of Whatcom Country businesses.

Prior to joining the Washington SBDC at Western Washington University, she was employed at Bellingham Technical College where she worked closely with faculty to develop operational budgets and secure funding for instructional equipment to sustain and grow their programs. These efforts contributed to an educated and prepared workforce in industries such as industrial technology, culinary arts, aerospace, engineering and advanced manufacturing, fisheries, health, business and computers, and transportation and mechanical technology.

Sherri has extensive experience advising and coaching others to help them achieve their professional goals. She has acute financial planning and monitoring skills to aid in the exceptional management of resources. With keen spreadsheet and data manipulation experience, Sherri can assist clients with in-depth statistical, trend, and variance analysis of their business finances and operations. In addition to her master’s degree in business administration and her certification as an SBDC business advisor, Sherri is a certified GrowthWheel advisor. She enjoys using her skills to work with business owners who are serious about making decisions and taking action to grow their company.

Sherri has a passion for planning, thinking through “what-if” scenarios, bridging strategic alliances, and developing strengths in others. Sherri also believes that creating a dynamic and fun working environment contributes to successful and sustainable businesses!
